- KAI Izumo is located along the Sea of Japan coast in the region called 'Izumo,’ known as the land of the Gods. Legend has it the gods bathed in the hot spring water that still flows from Tamatsukuri Onsen Hot
Springs. This source of mineral-rich water has a history dating back more than 1,300 years and has been referred to in literature and many historical documents.
