Overview
- Nara Hotel was founded in 1909 to serve as “a state guest house in the Kansai region”that is located on a hill in idyllic Nara Park. Many guests have left us a number of memories in its history, while it has accommodated them. The hotel has been more brilliant with the passage of time, the Meiji, Taisho, Showa and Heisei eras. You’ll find classic elegance such as mantelpieces in guest rooms throughout the main building, which is built of Japanese cypress in the style of a residence in the late 16th century. Each room has traditional charm and contemporary comfort, combining Japanese style and European one to make the characteristic beauty and enjoyable space.
